WHEREAS, Commissioner Brad Jones has served as a member of the City of Campbell
Planning Commission for eight years, from September 1995 through August 2003; and
WHEREAS, during Commissioner Brad Jones's tenure as a member of the Planning
Commission, he reviewed amendments to the San Tomes Area Neighborhood Plan as well
as major development applications including the Campbell Technology Park on the former
Winchester Drive-in site; Pruneyard Shopping Center the
expansions;
Campbell-Gateway
and Stoddard's Brewery projects in downtown Campbell, the Pulte Homes/Larkspur
Landing Hotel development of the Best Products site and the comprehensive update to the
City's General Plan; and
WHEREAS, Commissioner Brad Jones has served faithfully at regular and special
meetings of the Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission recognizes the dedicated service that Commissioner
Brad Jones has rendered the Commission during his two terms;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Planning Commission of the City of
Campbell expresses its sincerest appreciation to Commissioner Brad Jones for his service,
that the Commission was fortunate to have had the honor of serving the Community with
him and wishes him well in the future.
