WHEREAS, there has been submitted to the City Council of the City
of Campbell a final map of Tract No. 6593 for approval; and,
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has certified that the map conforms to
Subdivision Map Act and City Ordinance;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Campbell that said map be and the same is hereby approved and that the
streets, avenues and publ ic ways shown thereon be and the same are

We have completed a cost estimate for installing water facilities to
serve 12 townhouses @ 338-350 W. Rincon Ave., City of Campbell. An outline
of the estimate is as follows:

The estimated costs outlined above are based on construction after
rough grading and installation of sewer lines and laterals, and before
placement of curb and gutters and base rock. Grade and alignment control
stakes must be set by the development's engineers. Also, installation should
be completed before material, for housing starts, is placed where it in-
terfers with the trenching and backfilling. Any delays so caused will be
a non-refundible responsibility of the development.
Before material will be obtained and construction scheduled, the
amount of $10,410, less the $200 engineering fee, must be deposited or
bonded with The Campbell Water Company. After construction is completed,
costs will be adjusted to actual and refunds or additional billings made.
The deposit of $10,410 includes $9,550 for mains and services that is
refundible and $860 for the purchase of a hydrant head, extension, bolt-up
sets and bury that is not refundible. In this latter matter, the water
company is acting as purchasing agent for the City of Campbell. Not included
is the 5 year hydrant rental fee which must be paid di~ectly to the City
Public WorkS-EngineerIng JJepartment before service can be commenced.

We have no objection to the P.S.E.'s as shown on the attached
map.
P.S.E.'s do not, however, constitute "an easement acceptable to
the utility" as described in our Rule 16 I.C.2b. It may, there-
fore, be advantageous for the developer to grant our Company a
Right-of-Way for a portion of the telephone facilities to be
placed on the property served. Any arrangements for such an
easement will be made directly with the developer.
