ORDINANCE NO.960
BEING AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CAHPBELL ADOPTING PLANS, ELEVATIONS, AND
DEVELOPMENT SCHEDULE FOR A PORTION OF THE PLANNED
DEVELOPMENT ZONE AS. ESTABLISHED BY ORDINANCE NO. 945
ADOPTED ON THE 28TH DAY OF MAY, 1974.

The City Council of the City of Campbell does ordain as follows:
SECTION ONE: That the Zoning Map of the City of Campbell is hereby
amended and changed by adopting the attached "Exhibit A,'I entitled
IIPlans and Elevations," "Exhibit 6" entitled IIDevelopment Schedule," and
IIExhibit C" entitled IIMap of Said Property,'1 as per the-appl ication of
Joseph Carlino for a skating center development on property known as
360-400 West Rincon Avenue in a Planned Development Zone. Copies of said
exhibits are on file in the Planning Department office.
Said approval subject to the following conditions:
A. Property to be fenced and landscaped as indicated and as added in
I'red" on plans.
B. landscape plan indicating type of plant material, location of hose
bibs or sprinkler system and type of fencing to be submitted for approval of
the Planning Commission.
C. landscaping. shall be maintained in accordance with the approved
landscape plan:
D. Faithful performance bond in the amount of $5,000 to be posted to
insure landscaping, fencing and striping of parking area within three (3) months
of completion of construction, or appl icant may fi Ie wri tten. agreement to
complete landscaping, fencing and striping of parking area prior to final
~uilding deoartment clearance.

E. All mechanical equipment located on roofs shall be screened as approved
by the Planning Director.
r. Applicant to submit a report from an acoustical engineer that clearly
shows that this project will not have an adverse effect on the surrounding
neighborhood.
G.. Maximum hours of public operation shall not exceed 8 a.m. to 12:00
midnight.
(a) The Chief of Police, or designated officer, shall have the
authority to enforce the specified hours .of operation.
H. The Chief of Police, or his designated officer, shall have the authority
to close the operatior, of the estdbli~hment earlier than the specified hours
when he deems that the peace and serenity of the neighborhood or community
is threatened.'
(a) The owner shall ~vethe right to appeal the decision of the Chief
of Police to the Ci.t'Y Council within t~n days .of said decision.
t. On-site illumination to be approved by the Pla~ning Director.
J. All parking and driveway areas to be developed in compliance with
Section 21.50 of the Campbell Municipal Code. All parking spaces to be provided
with appropriate concrete curbs or bumper guards.
K. Underground utilities to be provided as required by Section 20.16.070
of the Campbell Municipal Code.
l. Plans submitted to the building department for plan check shall indicate
clearly the location of all connections for underground utilities, including
water, sewer, electric, telephone and television cables, etc.
M. Sign application to be submitted in accordance with prOVIsions of the
sign ordinance for all signs. No sign to be installed unti 1 application is
made and app roved by the City Counc i 1 .
N. Ordinance No. 782 of the Campbe'l1 Municipal Code stipulates that any
contract for the collection and disposal of refuse, garbage, wet garbage,
and rubbish produced within the limits of the City of Campbell shall be made
with Green Valley Di~posal Company. This requirement applies to all single
family dwellings, multiple ~partment units, to all commercial, business, indus-
trial, manufacturin~ and construction establishments.
O. Trash container(s) of a size and quantity necessary to serve the
development shall be located in area(s) approved by the fire department.
Unless otherwise noted, enclosure(s) shall consist of a concrete floor surrounded
by a solid wall or fence and have self-closing doors of a sLze specified by
the fire department. .All ericlosures to be constructed at grade level.

BUILDING DEPARTMENT
P. South wall shall have a 30" parapet above the roof, lower exterior
wall only ice skating rink. Roller skating rink shall have a 3011 parapet above
the roof at the highest roof elevation. Section 1709 and Table 5-A Uniform
Bu i I ding Code.
