Application of Self-Serv Food Corp., Inc. for
approval of offices/warchouse and commissary
for Burgcr Pit on property located at 490 Salmar
Avenue (See Map #3 attached and copy of Parcel Map)
This property is located on thc south side of Salmar Avenue and is
bounded on the north, south, east and west by M-I-S zoning.

At the present time this business is located at 1070 Florence Way.
Staff recommcnds approval subject to the following conditions:
1. Property to be fenced and landscaped as indicated and as added
in "red" on plans. Parking strip to be surfaced and tree wells
provided for street tree planting as specified by Public Works
Department.
2. Landscape plan indicating type of plant material, location of
hose bibs or sprinkler system and type of fencing to be submitted
for approval of the Planning Director at time of application for
bui ld ing permi t.
3. Faithful Pcrformance Bond in the amount of $1,000 to bc posted to
insure landscaping, fcncing and striping of parking arca within
three (3) months of completion of construction or applicant may
file written agreement to complete landscaping, fencing and
striping of parking area prior to final building department clear-
ance.
4. An enclosure ~onsisting of a concrete floor surrounded by a
. six foot high solid wall or fence shall be constructed to house
trash container in an area approved by the Planning Director and
Fire Department. Said enclosure to be 8' x 12' minimum with 6 foot
self-closing gates.
s. Recommend that building be colored concrete or exposed aggregate
finish.
The applicant is notified as part of this application that he is
required to meet the following conditions in accordance with Ordinances
of the City of Campbell.
6. All parking and driveway areas to be developed in compliance with
Section 9319 of the Campbell Municipal Code.
7. Underground Utilities to be provided as required by Section 9110.6
of the Campbell Municipal Code.
8. Plans submitted to the building department for plan check shall
indicate clearly the location of all connections for underground
utilities including water, sewer, electric, telephone and television
cables, etc.
9. Sign application to be submitted in accordance with provisions of
the sign ordinance for all signs. No sign to he installed until
application is approved and permit issued by the building department.
10. Applicant to process parcel map for proposed minor subdivision.
11. Applicant to obtain excavation permit for driveway approach.
12. Applicant to pay storm drainage fee in the amount of $530.00.
The applicant is notified that he shall comply with all applicable Codes
or Ordinances of the City of Cam~bell which pertain to this development
and are not herein specified.

Section 9316.1 of the Campbell Municipal Code reads as follows:
Any approval granted under this section shall expire one hundred eight.y
(180) days after the date upon which such approval was granted, unless
an extension for such approval is obtained by making written application
for same to the PlaIlYling Commission at least fifteen (15) days prior to
the expiration date of such approval.
No building permit shall be issued after the expiration date of any
approval until a new approval has been obtained in the manner provided
for in this chapteT.
