Dear Mr. Street:
An architectural approval for the construction of an industrial
building at 225 East Sunnyoaks Avenue, Campbell, California was
granted by the City of Campbell to Mr. Norman L. Clodfelter on
November S, 1963. The conditions of the architectural approval
required that street and easement lines for the San Tomas
Expressway and its associated frontage road be reserved. A
letter was sent to Mr. Clodfelter on November IZ, 1963 from
the office of the City Engineer informing him that the building
could not be built in the proposed right-of-way. A copy of the
conditions imposed by the PlanninR Commission in granting
architectural approval and a copy of the letter from the City
Engineer are attached.
In conference with Mr. Wren, the City Engineer, I have established
that the right-of-way reservation ... based on a line 4S ft. east
of ~d parallel to the railroad right-of-way running from the
northerly property line on Mr. Clodfelter's lot to the northerly
line of Sunnyoaks Avenue. Where the proposedrigllt-of-way line

Dear Sir:
In regard to your application for "S" zone
approval for the building at 225 East Sunnyoaks Avenue,
which was approved by the City Planning Commission on
November 5, 1963, please be advised that the only
conditions of approval pertain to the res~Yation of
right of way for the future street along the r~ilroad
tracks. The City will enforce that the new building
clears the 45-foot right of way which is proposed for
that street and that this right of way is without per.ma~ant
obstruction in preparation for the ultimate purchase
of right of way.

Planning Commission at least fifteen (15) days prio~ to the expiration date of such
approva 1.
No building permit shall be issued after the expiration date of any
approval until a new approval ha~ been obtai~ed in the manner provided for in
this chapter.
