This is in answer to your letter of February 7, 1978. You
asked why there has been a delay in the fnsta11ation of street
improvements covered by the referenced bond.
We have been trying to develop adequate support to form an '
assessment district to install the improvements in the entire
street. We believe this will produce a better product than a
piece meal improvement of the street.
We expect to have the necessary support within the next 18
months or so. However until such time as the district is
actually formed we must ask Mr. Sahadi to continue to renew
his bond.

Section 9316. I of the Campbell Municipal Code reads as follows:
Any approval granted under this section shall expire one hundred eighty
(180) days after the date upon which such approval was granted, unless an
extension for such approval is obtained by making written application for
same to the Planning Commission at least fifteen (15) days prior to the
expiration date of such approval.
No building permit shall be iS5ued after the expiration date of any
approval until a new approval has been obtained In the manner provided
for In this chapter.
