Thanks for sharing your cost estimate for construction of the Union Avenue
frontage of Tract No. 7205. We concur with your cost and quantity figures.
There are several construction items that were omitted from the estimate,
however. They are marked on your estimate. A copy is attached. These
additions, along with 12% for engineering and 20% for contingencies, bring
the total to $20,382. As I indicated to Mr. Lampe previously, the City is
willing to round this down to $20,000 for the cash deposit necessary to
get his building released. Of course, any of these dollars not spent on
the street construction will be refunded.
As Mr. Lampe is aware, he could install his street improvements at this
time, along with the necessary conforms (extensive) to make it safe and
operable.

Dear Dave:
Thanks much for the copy of the "Preliminary Plan for Design Study
Only" for that section of Union Avenue that wi 11 improve the frontage
of Tract No.7205, the James Lampe Condominium project.
Mr. Lampe asked this office to prepare a cost estimate of the required
improvements for his frontage in order that your office can establish
his contribution to the City of Campbell.
To this end, attached find our cost estimate that is based on some
of the unit prices that was received from the Contractor that submitted
a "Bid" in May of 1983, when it was planned that Mr. Lampe was going to
do the required off-site work.
Hope this will aid your office in establishing his contribution.

RESOLUTION NO. 6217
BEING A RESOLUTION APPROVING FINAL MAP OF TRACT
NO. 7205, LANDS OF LAMPE, AND AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR TO SIGN THE PROPOSED AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, there has been submitted to the City Council of the City
of Campbell a final map of Tract No. 7205, Lands of Lampe, for approval;
WHEREAS, an agreement, approved by the City Attorney as to form,
which covers certain conditions of approval of said map has been
presented;
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has certified that the map conforms to
Subdivision Map Act and City Ordinance;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Campbell that said map be and the same is hereby approved, and that any
real property offered for dedication for public use is accepted on be-
half of the publ ic in conformity with the terms of the offer of
ded i ca t ion.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor be and he is hereby author-
ized to execute said agreement on behalf of the City of Campbell.
