CC Resolution 10673 RESOLUTION NO. 10673 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE AN AMENDMENT OF THE AGREEMENT WITH DANIEL RICH FOR HIS EMPLOYMENT AS CITY MANAGER WHEREAS, the City Council has appointed Daniel Rich as City Manager, effective May 31,2005; and WHEREAS, Section 2.16.020 of the Campbell Municipal Code provides that compensation for all appointed officers and employees of the City shall be fixed by Resolution; and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to have an employment agreement establishing the salary, benefits and working conditions of the City Manager for the duties and responsibilities of that position as set forth by the Campbell Municipal Code, Section 2.12; WHEREAS, the City Council desires to amend the employment agreement with Daniel Rich; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Campbell that the Mayor is authorized to execute an amendment to the employment agreement with Daniel Rich, City Manager, a copy of which is attached hereto. PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Campbell this 11th day of September 2006, by the following roll call vote: AYES: Councilmembers: Kennedy, Burr, Furtado, Watson NOES: Councilmembers: None ABSENT: Councilmembers: Hernandez APPROVED: fZ- Jeaflette Watson, Mayor A~~ Anne Bybee, City Clerk City of Campbell City of Campbell Redevelopment Agency Amendment to Agreement for City Manager Services THAT CERTAIN AGREEMENT of employment dated May 31,2005 between the City of Campbell, the Campbell Redevelopment Agency (City) and Daniel Rich (City Manager) wherein Daniel Rich is employed as the City Manager and Redevelopment Agency Executive Director, is hereby amended as follows: The first sentence of Section 2, subsection a. regarding salary and benefits, shall be amended to read as follows: a. The City Manager's salary shall be increased to $174,488 per year commencing on July 1, 2006. Subsection b, shall be modified as follows: c. The City Manager shall be credited with an additional 40 hours of sick leave commencing on July 1, 2006. In all other respects, the agreement shall remain as first written. IN WITNESS WHEREOF, CITY has caused this agreement to be signed and executed in its behalf by its Mayor, and the City Manager has executed same on the date noted.
