Dear Mr. Nash,
This letter is to inform you that there are still several outstanding issues that
must be addressed prior to the issuance of building permits for the expansion
of the bus yard facility at 1490-1506 Whiteoaks Road. In addition, this
department has received several recent complaints regarding the continued
use of the expansion area without benefit of the improvements that were
approved by the Planning Commission. The following is a list of issues that
must be addressed prior to the issuance of permits:
· Compliance with all of the Public Works Department issues outlined in
Chuck Gomez's letter dated October 18, 1994 {attached};
· Approval of a parking lot striping and paving plan by the Building
Di vision;
· Final fencing, landscape and irrigation plans to be approved by the
Planning Division, and a $5,000 performance bond or written agreement
to ensure completion of all landscaping, irrigation, and fencing; and,
· A lighting plan that shows all lighting directed on site, subject to the
approval of the Planning and Building Divisions, and issuance of a
building permit.
Until such time as the improvements are completed, all vehicles must be
moved off of the expansion area. In addition, the vehicles are not to be stored

within the public right-of-way. I will be conducting an inspection of the site
in the next week and periodically thereafter to ensure compliance with this

copy of subject parcel. I have the following comments:
1. Title Report indicates property a "portion of Lot 5 and 6". Parcel Map
indicates Lot 5 only - verify with title company
2. If the City of Campbell has an ordinance that requires that Parcel Maps be
based upon a field survey, then subject Parcel Map is not sufficient as to re-
establishing rear lines, side lines. found monuments. etc., however. if no
ordinance exists. then the map can be compiled from record data. etc. If so.
Kenneth Nelson's Statement should indicated "record", etc. (See 660(0(8)
3. A tie should be made to Redding street, record dimensions are acceptable.

C. The $500.00 Plan Check Deposit will be retained by the City as the cash
deposit. This is a refundable deposit that will be refunded to the owner if
not used by the City.
D. Pay Storm Drainage Area Fee in the amount of $1,868.00 for 1490 White Oaks
Road
E. Provide City with a Certificate of Insurance that meets the requirements as set
forth in the enclosed City insurance requirements.

elevations. All storm drain design hydraulic and hydrology calculation
shall be submitted to show a 10 year minimum design return period at 2.0
minimum velocity per second. On offsite storm drain systems that do not
have a 2.00 feet minimum of cover between top of pipe and the asphalt
concrete surface grade, the Engineer shall submit structural backfill design
calculations to support the acceptability of the design.

by the City Engineer. The storm drainage system for this site shall be connected
to the underground storm drainage system in Whiteoaks Road.
3. The applicant shall pay a storm drainage area fee in the amount of $1,868 for the
property at 1490 Whiteoaks Road.
4. The applicant shall submit plans, pay fees, post surety, and obtain an
encroachment permit to relocate the driveway and for any other work in the public
right-of-way.
