The first alternative would involve rerroval of the failed base, offhaul and disposal a cost of $3813.00. Replacing the deeplift section would w~ th Mr. Err~co. The use of either document seems precluded, by this section, as a means to effect the necessary changes in the PSE on the referenced tract map. We would recommend a summary vacation of those portions of the PSE where car ports have been built. The attached two pages from the Streets and Highways Code recite the central requirements of such an action. We will prepare the resolution for the Council's action if you will prepare the plat and legal description and obtain the written con- sent of PG&E, PT&T, Gill Cable Television, Sanitary District No.4, and the San Jose Water Company. As noted in the Code, the vacation becomes effective upon the recor- dation of the resolution of summary vacation.
