A RESOLUTION OR THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS, AND AUTHORIZING
SOLICITATION OF BIDS, AND AUTHORIZING THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR
TO AWARD THE CONTRACT FOR THE SANTA CLARA VALLEY WATER
DISTRICT EXTRACTION WELLS PROJECT (04-09)
WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Campbell entered into an Agreement
with the Santa Clara Valley Water District to manage the design and construction of three water
supply wells at 555 West Campbell Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the City of Campbell retained consultants to design and oversee construction of the
water supply wells; and
WHEREAS, the final plans and specifications have been developed with input from the Santa
Clara V alley Water District;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell
hereby approves the plans and specifications for the Santa Clara Valley Water District Extraction
Well Project (04-09), authorizes the solicitation of bids, and authorizes the Public Works
Director to award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder within the budget and
contingency amounts as authorized by the Santa Clara Valley Water District.
