RESOLUTION NO. 10720
BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CAMPBELL DECLARING CANVASS OF RETURNS AND RESULT OF
GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION HELD ON TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 7,2006
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Campbell duly called and ordered held in
said City a General Municipal Election on the th day of November, 2006, for the
purpose of submitting to the qualified electors thereof the election of three City
Councilmembers; and
WHEREAS, said General Municipal Election was held on Tuesday, November 7, 2006,
and in accordance with the law and the votes thereat received and canvassed, and the
returns thereof ascertained, determined and declared in all respects as required by law.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Campbell as
follows:
1. That the City Clerk of the City of Campbell be and she is hereby instructed to
enter this resolution on the minutes of the City Council as a statement of the result of
said election.
2. That the whole number of ballots cast in said City at said General Municipal
Election was 11,005, or 60.1 %.
3. That at said election the following candidates were submitted to the electors of
said City and that the number of votes given in said City for each of said candidates
were as follows:

4. That by said Resolution calling said General Municipal Election for said City of
Campbell was divided into eighteen (18) voting precincts for the purpose of said
election, and that the number of votes cast in each of said precincts was as attached
hereto and made a part hereof and marked "Exhibit A."
5. That all absent voters' ballots have been duly received and canvassed in time for
and in the manner required by law, and the result is outlined in "Exhibit A."
6. That the following candidates elected are:
CITY COUNCIL (3 Seats)
Jane Kennedy
Evan Low
Dan Furtado
7. That the terms of office shall be for a four (4) year term, expiring November
2010.

I, Jesse Durazo, Registrar of Voters of the County of Santa Clara, State of
California, hereby declare:
1. A Gubernatorial General Election was held in the County of Santa Clara, for
the City of Campbell, on November 7, 2006 for the purpose of electing Three (3)
Council Members to the Governing Board.
2. The official canvass of the returns of this election was conducted by the Office
of the Registrar of Voters in accordance with the appropriate provisions of the
Elections Code of the State of California.
3. The Statement of Votes Cast, now on file in my office, shows the number of
votes for each candidate for the Governing Board of the City of Campbell and in each
of the precincts and that the total shown for each candidate are true and correct.
