RESOLUTION NO. 10737
BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL CONGRATULATING
PAT HAGMANN, 2006 CITIZEN OF THE YEAR
WHEREAS, Pat Hagmann has been selected by the Campbell Chamber of Commerce
as 2006 Citizen of the Year in recognition of many years of volunteer service to the
Campbell community; and
WHEREAS, Pat Hagmann will be honored at the Chamber of Commerce annual
"Celebrate Campbell" banquet on February 24, 2007; and
WHEREAS, Pat Hagmann currently is serving a second term as President of the
Campbell Museum and Ainsley House Foundation, and has been instrumental in
fundraising efforts for ongoing expenditures as well as the "Raise the Roof' project; and
WHEREAS, Pat Hagmann is a member of the Country Woman's Club and assumed
the role of Treasurer for the club's endowment fund which supports scholarships for
local Campbell students; and
WHEREAS, Pat Hagmann recently retired from JP Meyer Kennedy Accounting having
served as long-time business partner of Jane Kennedy; and
WHEREAS, Pat Hagmann is a long-time volunteer for many local events including the
Prunefestival, Boogie on the Bayou, the Oktoberfest, and Campbell's annual Toy
Program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell
congratulates Pat Hagmann on being named 2006 Campbell's Citizen of the Year and
recognizes her service to the Campbell community and her continued involvement in
community and civic affairs.
