A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
ACCEPTING THE RESIGNATION OF BETTY OLSEN FROM THE BICYCLE
ADVISORY COMMITTEE (BAC), AUTHORIZING THE DESIGNATION OF GEOFF
BRADLEY AS AN ALTERNATE MEMBER OF THE BAC, AND THE APPOINTMENT
OF HERMAN W ADLER AND ANDREA SCHESTEDT TO FILL THE VACANCIES ON
THE COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, the City of Campbell has established a Bicycle Advisory Committee with five
members appointed by the City Council to provide valuable guidance to the City regarding bicycle
policies and programs; and
WHEREAS, one member has recently resigned from the Committee and another member has
asked to become an alternate member of the Committee; and
WHEREAS, the City solicited applications for serving on the Committee and six applications
were recei ved; and
WHEREAS, an interview panel comprised of two Public Works staff and a representative
from the Bicycle Advisory Committee interviewed the applicants and approved a recommendation
for Herman Wadler and Andrea Schestedt to fill the vacancies on the Committee.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Campbell that
the resignation of Ms. Betty Olsen from the Bicycle Advisory Committee is hereby accepted; that
Mr. Geoff Bradley is hereby designated an alternate member, and that Mr. Herman Wadler and Ms.
Andrea Schestedt are hereby appointed to serve on the Bicycle Advisory Committee.
