CC Resolution 10218 RESOLUTION NO. 10218 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL AUTHORIZING THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR TO EXECUTE AN ELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT WITH CALTRANS FOR HIGHWAY LIGHTING MAINTENANCE WHEREAS, Caltrans currently invoices Campbell each month for the maintenance and energy of highway lighting on Hamilton A venue between State Highway 17 northbound and southbound ramps; and WHEREAS, Caltrans has proposed to assume all maintenance of said highway lighting system and discontinue monthly billing to Campbell; and WHEREAS, Caltrans would require Campbell to pay PG&E directly each month for the energy costs of the highway lighting; and WHEREAS, with this arrangement Campbell would realize an annual savings in highway lighting maintenance and administrative costs; and WHEREAS, Campbell must enter into an Agreement with Caltrans in order to realize these cost savings; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Campbell that the Public Works Director is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with Caltrans for maintenance of highway lighting on Hamilton A venue between Highway 17 northbound and southbound ramps.
