RESOLUTION NO. 10742
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
APPROVING THE PRELIMINARY CONCEPT FOR THE SAN TOMAS AQUINO
CREEK/SMITH CREEK IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT (05-04) AND APPROVING
A BUDGET ADJUSTMENT
WHEREAS, the Santa Clara Valley Water District (SCVWD) awarded a Clean, Safe
Creeks and Natural Flood Protection Trail and Open Space Grant to the City of
Campbell; and
WHEREAS, site investigations have been conducted along the creek banks assessing
the feasibility of various potential improvements; and
WHEREAS, a revised preliminary project concept has been defined and presented to
Council for consideration, including the removal of the improvements along Smith
Creek; and
WHEREAS, additional funding of $30,323 has been granted from Transportation
Development Act FY 06-07 funds;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell
hereby approves the revised preliminary concept for the San Tomas Aquino
Creek/Smith Creek Improvements Project (05-04) and approves the attached budget
adjustment to recognize additional TDA funding of $30,323.
