RESOLUTION NO.
10746
BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO AWARD AND EXECUTE A CONTRACT
FOR A COMMUNITY SATISFACTION SURVEY
WHEREAS, the City of Campbell (hereinafter referred to as "City") conducted
biennial Community Satisfaction Surveys in 1997, 1999 and 2001 for the purpose of
measuring residents' levels of satisfaction with City's services and programs;
WHEREAS, the City desires to conduct a 2007 Community Satisfaction Survey
City and incorporate the results both in the development of the FY 2007/08 Operating
and Capital Budgets and as it explores the feasibility of revenue enhancement options;
and
WHEREAS, Campbell's Municipal Code 93.20.091 (Request For Proposals)
requires that he City Council approve, and award a contract for, the purchase of supplies
and services that are technical in nature whose value exceeds $15,000 and, based on
similar surveys conducted in the past, it is anticipated that the value of a consulting
services agreement for another survey is between $15,000 and $25,000.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of
Campbell does hereby authorize the City Manager to award and execute an agreement
for a Community Satisfaction Survey.
