RESOLUTION NO. 10273
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CAMPBELL AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AN AMENDMENT
TO THE ANIMAL CONTROL JOINT POWERS AUTHORITY AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, the City of Campbell entered into an Animal Control Joint Powers Authority (JPA)
Agreement on July 5,2000; and
WHEREAS, in December of 2002, the Joint Powers Authority amended the Agreement to allow
additional time for a member agency to withdraw from the Authority in order to review its animal
services options; and
WHEREAS, other cities remaining in the Joint Powers Authority are also reviewing their animal
services options; and
WHEREAS, the SV ACA Board has again voted to amend the agreement to set back the date that is
required by member agencies to announce their intention to withdraw from the Authority.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED the City Council authorize the Mayor to execute an
amendment to the Animal Control Joint Powers Authority (JPA) Agreement on behalf of the City of
Campbell.
