RESOLUTION NO. 10261
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE MEMORANDUM OF
UNDERSTANDING FOR THE SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA CENTER- TO-CENTER
DATA EXCHANGE PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the SV -ITS Program is a regional ITS program that includes participation by
12 agencies with the City of San Jose serving as program coordinator; and
WHEREAS, the SV-ITS Program provides limited ability to exchange traffic data and
video with agencies outside the SV -ITS Program; and
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Transportation Commission is establishing an Interim San
Francisco Bay Area Center-to-Center Program (Program) and Data Exchange System to enable
the exchange of real-time traffic data and video between the SV-ITS Program, other Bay Area
Smart Corridors, and a regional Transportation Management Center; and
WHEREAS, the attached Memorandum of Understanding identifies the roles and
responsibilities of all Party agencies involved in the Program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell
hereby authorizes the City Manager to execute the attached Memorandum of Understanding for
the San Francisco Bay Area Center-to-Center Data Exchange Program.
