COUNCIL RESOLUTION RESOLUTION NO. 10258
RDA RESOLUTION NO. 2003-13
BEING A JOINT RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
AND THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY BOARD OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
APPROVING A BUDGET ADJUSTMENT
TO CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #04-06
AND AUTHORIZING A CHANGE ORDER TO BROADEN THE SCOPE
OF THE WORK TO INCLUDE THE INTERIOR THEATRE SIGNAGE
WHEREAS, the City Council has adopted a Capital Improvement Program
budget for the 2003-2004 fiscal year which includes the funding for CIP #04-06:
Community Center Sign age; and
WHEREAS, there is a need for additional funds to expand the scope of the
project to provide the interior signage for the Heritage Theatre as per the plans and
specifications; and
WHEREAS, there are 1999 RDA Bond Proceeds funds available;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council and the
Redevelopment Agency Board jointly authorize the transfer of $32,400 from 1999 RDA
Bond Proceeds (432.9999) to Capital Improvement Project #04-06: Community Center
Signage (435.04-06.7883) and also authorize a Change Order increasing the project
scope and contingency to include the interior signage for the Heritage Theatre.

Reason for Request:
The Community Center Signage project budget was prepared without consideration for the need for
interior Theatre signage. The scope of the design for the project was increased last January to include
the interior Theatre signage. Now that the design is complete and the cost has been identified, additional
funds are needed to fund this phase of the project.
