BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ISSUE A RQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

SERVICE
WHEREAS, the City has approximately 73 cellular phones issued to employees
as a tool for employees to perform their duties offsite and to respond to urgent situations;
WHEREAS, the City's current costs for cellular monthly service may not be
economical and efficient due to the number of cellular service providers the City
contracts with and the associated staggered billing cycles and terms; and
WHEREAS, staff believes that it may be able to achieve savings for the City by a
competitive RFP process.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of
Campbell does hereby authorize the City Manager to issue an RFP and to award and
