ORDINANCE NO. 2084
BEING AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CAMPBELL ADDING SECTION 13.04.162 TO THE MUNICIPAL CODE
REGARDING SKATE PARK REGULATIONS
The City Council of the City of Campbell does ordain as follows:
SECTION ONE: Section 13.04.162 is hereby added to the Campbell Municipal
Code, to read as follows:
13.04.162 Skate Park Requlations
A. Definitions. "Skate park facility" means the fence and the entire fenced-in
area surrounding and including the skate park amenities located at the
Campbell Community Center.
B. Regulations Governing Use. The following regulations shall apply within
the skate park facility:
1. No one shall ride a skateboard or engage in any other skating
activity in the skate park facility unless they wear proper safety
equipment, including a helmet, elbow pads, and knee pads; and
2. A sign shall be posted at the skate park facility affording reasonable
notice of the restrictions set forth in subsection 8.1 and that anyone
who violates these restrictions shall be subject to citation; and
3. In addition to the regulations set forth in subsection B.1, the
Recreation and Community Services Director may establish other
reasonable rules and regulations to protect the skate park facility
and the persons using it from injury or damage.
SECTION TWO: This Ordinance shall become effective thirty (30) days following
its passage and adoption and shall be published one time within fifteen (15) days
upon passage and adoption in the Campbell Express, a newspaper of general
circulation in the City of Campbell, County of Santa Clara, State of California.
