RESOLUTION NO. 10042
BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF CAMPBELL AUTHORIZING THE
CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONSULTANT
SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH FREEDMAN, TUNG
& BOTTOMLEY FOR THE PREPARATION OF THE
WINCHESTER BOULEVARD AREA PLAN,
CAMPBELL A VENUE STREETSCAPE, AND
SPECIALIZED DESIGN GUIDLINES.
WHEREAS; in November 2001, the City adopted a comprehensive update to its General Plan
which included several new General Plan policies that deal specifically with the preparation of a
Winchester Boulevard Area Plan, Campbell A venue Streetscape, and the preparation of
specialized Design Guidelines; and
WHEREAS; the Request For Proposals was sent to five (5) pre-qualified consulting firms; and
WHEREAS, Freedman, Tung & Bottomley has submitted a proposal that is the most
advantageous to the City, taking into consideration the evaluation factors set forth in the RFP,
and that demonstrates that Freedman, Tung & Bottomley is qualified and has the required
expertise to prepare the Winchester Boulevard Area Plan, Campbell A venue Streetscape, and
specialized Design Guidelines.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED; that the City Council of the City of Campbell
hereby authorizes the City Manager to execute a Consultant Services Agreement with Freedman,
Tung & Bottomley for the purpose of completing the Winchester Boulevard Area Plan,
Campbell A venue Streetscape, and specialized Design Guidelines.
