RESOLUTION NO. 10075
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
A WARDING A CONTRACT TO W. BRADLEY ELECTRIC, INC.,
FOR CONSTRUCTION OF THE HAMIL TON A VENUEIDARRYL DRIVE
TRAFFIC SIGNAL MODIFICATION PROJECT (02-03)
WHEREAS, the City of Campbell was awarded $175,000 from the Federal Hazard
Elimination Safety (HES) Grant Program for fiscal year 2001102 for the Hamilton Avenue/Darryl
Drive Traffic Signal Modification Project (02-03); and
WHEREAS, total funding appropriated in the FY 2002/03 Operating Budget is $175,000;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 10052 approving the project plans,
specifications and estimates; and
WHEREAS, bids were solicited and opened on August 13, 2002; and
WHEREAS, the low bidder was W. Bradley Electric, Inc., in the amount of $136,041.20
and the bid has been reviewed and determined to be reasonable and responsive.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell
hereby awards the contract for construction of the Hamilton A venue/Darryl Drive Signal
Modification Project (02-03) to W. Bradley Electric, Inc, and authorizes the Public Works
Director to execute a contract with W. Bradley Electric, Inc., in the amount of $136,041.20 plus a
10% construction contingency of $13,604.12, for a total amount not to exceed $149,645.32.
