RESOLUTION NO. 10066
A RESOLUTION OF THE CAMPBELL CITY COUNCIL IN SUPPORT OF THE
TRANSIT ADVISORY MEASURE FOR THE NOVEMBER 2002 BALLOT
WHEREAS, the Valley Transportation Authority (VT A) is required to submit to the voters
a comprehensive transit program for an advisory vote every six years; and
WHEREAS, the advisory measure requires a comprehensive transit program, by
reference, to be submitted to the voters; and
WHEREAS, the Valley Transportation Plan 2020, as adopted by VTA on December 14,
200, will be referenced in the ballot language; and
WHEREAS, the ballot measure is advisory only and does not legally affect the
continuing receipt or expenditure of sales tax funds; and
WHEREAS, this measure does not raise taxes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Campbell City Council supports the
Transit Advisory Measure on the Santa Clara County November 2002 ballot.
