A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
REJECTING ALL BIDS RECEIVED FOR PROJECT 00-13 JOHN D. MORGAN PARK,
PHASE II IMPROVEMENTS AND AUTHORIZING THE RESOLICITATION OF BIDS
WHEREAS, bids were received for construction of Project 00-13, John D. Morgan Park,
Phase II Improvements, on June 18,2002; and
WHEREAS, an addendum was issued on June 17, 2002 to clarify a few minor design
items; and
WHEREAS, due to protest of award on the Community Center Project based on the
issuance of an addendum less than 72 hours prior to bid opening, rejecting bids would maintain a
consistent procedure;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Campbell
that all bids received for the aforementioned project be rejected, and that the Public Works
Director is hereby authorized to re-solicit bids for the construction of the project improvements.
