A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
SUMMARILY VACATING EXCESS PUBLIC STREET RIGHT OF WAY
ON ROBIN LANE EAST OF OLD ORCHARD ROAD
AND AUTHORIZING THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR
TO SIGN QUITCLAIM DEEDS
WHEREAS, property on Robin Lane east of Old Orchard Road is no longer
necessary for public street purposes; and,
WHEREAS, the vacation is to be made pursuant to Chapter 4, Summary
Vacation, of Part 3 of Division 9 of the California Streets and Highways Code; and,
WHEREAS, legal descriptions and plats depicting the excess public street right of
way to be vacated, the public service easements to be reserved, and the land to be
quitclaimed are correctly described in Exhibits "A" through "E" attached.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Campbell hereby vacates excess public right of way on Robin Lane east of Old Orchard
Road as described in Exhibit "A" attached, reserving public service easements as
described in Exhibits "B" and "C" attached; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell
hereby authorizes the Public Works Director to sign quitclaim deeds to the owners of 810
Old Orchard Road for the property described in Exhibit "D" attached and to the owners
of 842 Old Orchard Road for the property described in Exhibit "E" attached.

EXHIBIT "A"
Property Description for the Vacation of that portion of Robin Lane easterly of Old
Orchard Road
All of that portion of Robin Lane, 60 feet wide, lying northeast of the northeasterly
boundary line of Old Orchard Road, as said Lane and Road are shown on the final map of
Tract No. 361, filed for record in Book 12 of Maps at Pages 12 & 13, Santa Clara County
Records; and being more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the southeasterly comer of Lot 41 of said Tract 361, said southeasterly
comer being also the point of intersection of the common boundary line between said Lot
41 and Robin Lane, with the northeasterly boundary line of said Lot 41 and Tract No.
361, which is also the westerly boundary line of San Tomas Expressway; thence,
southeasterly along said northeasterly line of Tract No. 361, S 12028' 20" E 60.0 feet to
the northeasterly comer of Lot 42 of said tract; said point also being the point of
intersection of the southeasterly boundary line of Robin Lane with the northeasterly line
of said tract; thence southwesterly along said southeasterly boundary line of Robin Lane
S. 770 31' 40" W 100.0 feet to a point of tangency; thence along a tangent curve to the
left, with a radius of 20.0 feet through a central angle of 900 00' 00" an arc distance of
31.42 feet to a point of tangency in the northeasterly boundary line of said Old Orchard
Road; thence along the northwesterly prolongation of said northeasterly boundary line
N 120 28' 20" W a distance of 100.0 feet to a point of cusp; thence southerly and easterly
along the southerly boundary line of said Lot 41, along a curve to the left, which is
tangent to the reciprocal of the last described northeasterly boundary line, with a radius of
20.0 feet through a central angle of 900 00' 00" and an arc distance of 31.42 feet to a
point of tangency in said common boundary line between said Lot 41 and Robin Lane;
thence along said common boundary line N 770 31' 40" E 100.0 feet to a point in said
tract boundary line, and to the point of beginning, containing 7371.68 sq ft. more or less.

Excepting therefrom, a Public Service Easement, 10.0 feet in width, which extends from
the northeasterly boundary line of Old Orchard Road, northeasterly to the northeasterly
boundary line of Lot 42 of Tract No. 361, as said Old Orchard Road and Lot 42 are
shown on said Map recorded in Book 12 of Maps at pages 12 & 13, Santa Clara County
records; and is described as follows:
A strip of land of the uniform width of 10.0 feet, lying equally on either side of a line
which is more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the point of intersection of the centerline of Robin Lane (60 feet wide) with
the northeasterly boundary line of said Old Orchard Road, as said Lane and Road are
shown on map of Tract No. 361; and running thence along said northeasterly boundary
line N 12028' 20" W 13.85 feet to the True Point of Beginning; thence from the said
True Point of Beginning, N 890 40' 58" E, a distance of 65.77 feet to a point on said
centerline of said Robin Lane, from, which the point of beginning bears S 770 31' 40" W
64.30 feet; thence continuing N 890 40' 58" E a distance of 56.98 feet to a point in the
northeasterly boundary line of said Lot 42; which is also the common boundary line of
said Tract No. 361 with San Tomas Expressway.

All that certain portion of the vacated right-of-way of Robin Lane, vacated by City
Council Resolution Number , recorded in the office of the County Recorder,
Santa Clara County records as Document Serial Number , lying northerly of
the centerline of said street and extending northeasterly from the northeasterly boundary
line of Old Orchard Road to the northeasterly boundary line of said Robin Lane, which is
also the southwesterly boundary line of San Tomas Expressway, and being more
particularly described as follows;
Beginning at the southeast comer of Lot 41, as said lot is shown upon the final map of
