RESOLUTION NO. 9971
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
AUTHORIZING A BUDGET ADJUSTMENT TO APPROPRIATE LOCAL LAW
ENFORCEMENT BLOCK GRANT FUNDS
WHEREAS, the City Council provided authorization at its June 5,2001
meeting for submission by the Police Department of an application for a Bureau
of Justice Assistance Local Law Enforcement Block Grant to supplement funds
designated for the Department's current computer software and hardware
projects, including the Records Management System and Mobile Computer
System.
AND WHEREAS, the Bureau of Justice Assistance approved this grant
application and issued funds to the City of Campbell in the amount of $31,949.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Campbell authorize a budget adjustment to Capital Improvement Project #97-17
- Mobile Computer System, to increase the budget for this project in the amount
of $31,949 and permit these funds to be expended.

REASON FOR REOUEST - BE SPECIFIC:
Increase equipment budget for Capital Improvement Project #97-17 Mobile Computer System as Loca]
Law Enforcement Block Grant funds were received on November 6,2001 in the amount of$31,949.
Increase the Federal Grant Fund revenue and transfer the proceeds to the CIP Fund as equipment
expenses are incurred.
