RESOLUTION NO. 9958
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
APPROVING THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE HERITAGE THEATRE
RENOVATION PROJECT (00-02); AUTHORIZING PUBLIC WORKS
TO ADVERTISE AND SOLICIT BIDS; AND AUTHORIZING THE PUBLIC WORKS
DIRECTOR TO ISSUE A REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS FOR CONSTRUCTION
MANAGEMENT SERVICES
WHEREAS, final plans and specifications have been prepared for the Heritage Theatre
Renovation Project (00-02); and
WHEREAS, the Public Works Department is now ready to advertise and solicit bids; and
WHEREAS, there is a desire to evaluate the benefits of obtaining the services of a
construction management firm and multiple prime contracts for the completion of the Heritage
Theatre Renovation Project;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Campbell
that the plans and specifications for the Heritage Theatre Renovation Project (00-02) are hereby
approved and the Public Works Director is authorized to advertise and solicit bids for this
project.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Public Works Director is authorized to evaluate
the benefits of and solicit qualifications from construction management firms for managing a
multiple prime process for the completion of the Heritage Theatre Renovation Project.
