RESOLUTION NO. 9957
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CAMPBELL COMMENDING I. HAROLD HOUSLEY
FOR SEVEN YEARS OF SERVICE WITH
THE CITY OF CAMPBELL UPON HIS RETIREMENT
WHEREAS, I. Harold Housley was hired by the City of Campbell as an Associate
Civil Engineer on January 23, 1995; and,
WHEREAS, I. Harold Housley has served in all aspects of the Land Development
Section of the Public Works Department most notably by recommending conditions of
approval for developments and subdivisions, reviewing subdivision maps and certifying
that they were technically correct, reviewing grading and drainage plans, and processing
lot line adjustments and abandonment of rights of way; and,
WHEREAS, I. Harold Housley's diligent pursuit of contemporary storm drainage
design has reduced urban runoff pollution; and,
WHEREAS, I. Harold Housley's extraordinary organizational ability has resulted
in the creation of checklists and forms that have smoothed the development process; and,
WHEREAS, I. Harold Housley's considerable knowledge and experience in both
the public and private land development arena has served the City and its development
community well; and,
WHEREAS, I. Harold Housley has announced that his retirement will be effective
December 28, 2001.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Campbell, on behalf of the citizens of Campbell and the City staff, hereby expresses its
sincere appreciation to I. Harold Housley for seven years of valuable service and wishes
him a fulfilling retirement.
