CC Resolution 9953 RESOLUTION NO. 9953 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL AUTHORIZING THE MA VOR TO EXECUTE AN AMENDMENT OF THE AGREEMENT WITH BERNARD M. STROJNY FOR HIS EMPLOYMENT AS CITY MANAGER WHEREAS, the City Council has appointed Bernard M. Strojny as City Manager, effective November 11, 1996; and WHEREAS, Section 2.16.020 of the Campbell Municipal Code provides that compensation for all appointed officers and employees of the City shall be fixed by Resolution; and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to have an employment agreement establishing the salary, benefits and working conditions of the City Manager for the duties and responsibilities of that position as set forth by the Campbell Municipal Code, Section 2.12; WHEREAS, the City Council desires to amend the employment agreement with Bernard M. Strojny; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Campbell that the Mayor is authorized to execute an amendment to the employment agreement with Bernard M. Strojny, City Manager, a copy of which is attached hereto. PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Campbell this 20th day of November, 2001, by the following roll call vote: AYES: Councilmembers: Furtado, Kennedy, Burr, Watson, Dean NOES: Councilmembers: None ABSENT: Councilmembers: None APPROVED: ATTEST: /J.. & j/f. {L~ u- Anne Bybee, City Clerk CITY OF CAMPBELL CITY OF CAMPBELL REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT FOR CITY MANAGER SERVICES THAT CERTAIN AGREEMENT of employment dated October 7, 1996 between the City of Campbell, the City Redevelopment Agency (City), and Bernard M. Strojny (City Manager) wherein Bernard M. Strojny is employed as the City Manager and Redevelopment Agency Executive Director, is hereby amended as follows: The first sentence of Section 2, subsection a. regarding salary and benefits, shall be amended to read as follows: a. The City Manager's salary shall be increased to $158,400 per year, commencing on November 12,2001. In all other respects, the agreement shall remain as first written.
