RESOLUTION NO. 9952
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZING
ADVERTISING FOR BIDS - CAMPISI WAY EXTENSION PROJECT (96-19);
AUTHORIZING THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR TO EXECUTE
AGREEMENTS WITH THE PRUNEY ARD AND WEST V ALLEY
SANITATION DISTRICT; AND APPROVING A QUITCLAIM AGREEMENT
WITH SARATOGA PROPERTIES
WHEREAS, the City desires to construct full street improvements from the end of the existing
Campisi Way through the Aloha apartments and continuing to the Pruneyard parking lot, as well as the
reconstruction of portions of existing Campisi Way that are failing due to the underlying landfill; and
WHEREAS, final construction documents for this project have been completed by the firm of
Rajappan and Meyer, and
WHEREAS, the final plans include minor improvements and conforms on Pruneyard property
and the relocation of a West Valley Sanitation District sewer line; and
WHEREAS, additional minor right-of-way and easements are needed in order to construct the
project;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell hereby
approves the plans and specifications and authorizes a call for bids for the Campisi Way Extension
Project (96-19);
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell hereby authorizes
the Public Works Director to execute reimbursement agreements with The Pruneyard and West Valley
Sanitation District for their costs of the improvements;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell hereby authorizes
the Public Works Department to prepare and execute a Quitclaim Deed and to prepare and execute all
necessary agreements and deeds for the acceptance of the right-of-way, right of entry, and easements
necessary to construct the Campisi Way Extension Project.
