RESOLUTION NO. 9944
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
ACCEPTING CALIFORNIA LAW ENFORCEMENT EQUIPMENT PROGRAM FUNDING
AND APPRO V AL OF BUDGET AMENDMENT
WHEREAS, the State Legislature has enacted the California Law Enforcement Equipment
Program allowing local law enforcement jurisdictions to purchase related equipment and technology
based on their own needs; and
WHEREAS, the 2001-2002 State has again allocated statewide funds for the Program; and
WHEREAS, the City of Campbell has received $41,912 from the State for the Program; and
WHEREAS, the Police Department is currently evaluating their needs for such equipment
and technology;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell hereby
accepts the California Law Enforcement Equipment Program funding and approves a budget
amendment.
