RESOLUTION NO. 9925
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CAMPBELL APPROVING SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZING
CALLING FOR BIDS FOR A MOBILE EMERGENCY OPERATIONS CENTER
AND POLICE INCIDENT COMMAND POST
WHEREAS, the City of Campbell does not possess a Mobile Emergency
Operations Center; and
WHEREAS, critical incidents handled by the Police Department have been
handled from the Department's Communications Van, which has reached the end of its
useful life; and
WHEREAS, the adopted Fiscal Year 2001/2002 Capital Budget has appropriated
funds for the purchase of a Mobile Emergency Operations Center and Police Incident
Command Post.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CAMPBELL that the specifications for a Mobile Emergency Operations Center
and Police Incident Command Post be, and they are hereby, adopted and approved and
the Police Chief is authorized and directed to give notice inviting sealed proposals for
purchase of a Mobile Emergency Operations Center and Police Incident Command Post.
