CC Resolution 9917 RESOLUTION NO. 9917 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF THE LOS GA TOS CREEK MASTER PLAN FUNDING AGREEMENT WITH THE COUNTY OF SANTA CLARA PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT WHEREAS, the City of Campbell General Plan recommends the ratio of four acres of usable open space per one thousand residents in the City; and WHEREAS, the General Plan encourages the modernization of existing open space; and WHEREAS, the City of Campbell wishes to improve and develop the park facilities of Los Gatos Creek Park; and WHEREAS, the County of Santa Clara has allocated a grant of $25,000 to match the City's $25,000 in the Fiscal Year 2000/2001 Capital Improvement Project budget for a Master Plan and Environmental Clearance for Los Gatos Creek Park; WHEREAS, the City wishes to expedite the planning process; and WHEREAS, the City wishes to retain Dillingham Associates as a sole source consultant for the park planning; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell hereby authorizes the Public Works Director to execute a Funding Agreement with the County of Santa Clara for the Master Plan for Los Gatos Creek Park and to enter into a sole source consultant contract with Dillingham and Associates for said Master Plan.
