REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY BOARD RESOLUTION NO. 2001-11
BEING A JOINT RESOLUTION OF THE CITY
COUNCILIREDEVELOPMENT AGENCY BOARD OF THE CITY OF
CAMPBELL AUTHORIZING THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR TO
EXECUTE A CONSULTANT SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH
SASAKI ASSOCIATES FOR URBAN DESIGN SERVICES FOR THE
HAMILTON STATION; AND APPROVAL OF A BUDGET
ADJUSTMENT
WHEREAS, VT A is developing designs for an elevated grade-separated crossing at Hamilton Avenue,
and
WHEREAS; the Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VT A) has established the Community
Oriented Design Enhancements (CODE), and
WHEREAS; the Vasona Light Rail Project is designed as an eligible project for CODE funding, and
WHEREAS, professional urban design services are necessary to assist staff in judiciously recommending
appropriate CODE fund expenditures to enhance the Hamilton Avenue over crossing and station, and
WHEREAS, the firm of Sasaki and associates is uniquely qualified to assist the City with the required
urban design analysis and
WHEREAS, the attached budget adjustment has been prepared to appropriate the necessary funding for
retaining Sasaki and Associates.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council/Redevelopment Agency Board of the
City of Campbell hereby authorizes the Public Works Director to execute a Consultant Services
Agreement with Sasaki and Associates, Inc., for urban design services for an amount not to exceed
$30,000, and that the attached budget adjustment in the amount of $30,000 is approved.
