CC Resolution 9879 RESOLUTION NO. 9879 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER AND POLICE CHIEF TO SIGN DOCUMENTS REQUIRED TO OBTAIN STATE REIMBURSEMENT FOR PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT WHEREAS, the federal government has made reimbursement funds available to local jurisdictions for Weapons of Mass Destruction equipment through the State of California, Office of Emergency Services, and WHEREAS, the Santa Clara County Operational Area has made an application for reimbursement for local jurisdictions not already receiving such funding, and WHEREAS, authorized signatures are required by the City Manager and the Police Chief in order to receive reimbursement funding; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell hereby designates the City Manager and the Police Chief as authorized officials and as such are authorized to execute for, and in behalf of the City of Campbell, a public entity established under the laws of the State of California, applications and documents for the purpose of obtaining financial assistance.
