RESOLUTION NO. 9869
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
AUTHORIZING THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH
MOORE IACOFONO GOLTSMAN FOR PREPARATION OF CONSTRUCTION
DOCUMENTS AND RELATED SERVICES
WHEREAS, the City Council approved the Park Implementation Plan on November 4, 1996;
and
WHEREAS, on April 17, 2001, the City Council authorized staff to use MIG for the design of
the John D. Morgan (JDM) Budd Avenue side playground renovation and other JDM improvements;
and
WHEREAS, Moore Iacofano Goltsman has worked exceptionally well with the City on the
Park Improvement Implementation Plan, as well as Jack Fischer Park and John D. Morgan - Rincon
Side, and has developed a unique knowledge of the City of Campbell's needs and desires for park
improvements; and
WHEREAS, utilizing MIG will ensure that design and construction of Budd A venue
improvements will be accomplished in accordance with the improvements on the Rincon A venue side
of Morgan Park.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell
hereby authorizes the Public Works Director to execute an agreement with Moore Iacofano Goltsman
in an amount not to exceed $120,000 for the design and preparation of construction documents and
related services for improvements on the Budd Avenue side of John D. Morgan Park.
