RESOLUTION NO. 10784
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
APPROVING ISSUANCE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR A LARGE FORMAT
MEDIA SCANNER/COPIER/PRINTER AND AUTHORIZING THE PUBLIC WORKS
DIRECTOR TO EXECUTE THE PURCHASE AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, the City' Administrative Policy for citywide Document Imaging was
established in 2003; and
WHEREAS, City Hall currently stores more than 27,000 sheets of large size plan
sheets; and
WHEREAS, the Building Department annually budgets $15,000 for the purpose of
outsourcing the digitizing of large size plan sheets; and
WHEREAS, the existing Public Works reproduction equipment is in need of
upgrading; and
WHEREAS, the adopted FY 2007-2008 Operating Budget included $36,000 for the
purchase of a large format media scanner/copier/printer;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Campbell hereby approves the issuance of request for proposals for a large format media
scanner/copier/printer and authorizes the Public Works Director to execute the purchase
agreement, in an amount not to exceed $36,000.
