RESOLUTION NO. 10806
BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
APPROVING AN AGREEMENT WITH THE CAMPBELL VETERANS'
MEMORIAL COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, the Campbell Veterans' Memorial Committee recommends the
location of the memorial be placed at City Hall between the building and the
Orchard City Green Amphitheater; and
WHEREAS, a Request for Proposals for landscape architectural services will be
prepared and released for design services for a Veterans' Memorial; and
WHEREAS, the Public Works Director will review the proposals and select the
best qualified consultant to complete the design services and the Public Works
Director will negotiate an agreement for such services in an amount not to
exceed $30,000; and
WHEREAS, a $30,000 budget adjustment from park dedication fees will be
established to retain a landscape architect to design the Veterans' Memorial; and
WHEREAS, the Public Works Director will enter into an agreement with the
Campbell Veterans' Memorial Committee for reimbursement of City costs for the
landscape architecture services in regard to the Veterans' Memorial site.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Campbell does hereby authorize the Public Works Director to enter into an
agreement with the Campbell Veterans' Memorial Committee for reimbursement
of City costs for landscape architectural services.
