RESOLUTION NO. 9848
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF C MPBELL
AUTHORIZING THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR TO EXECUTE GREEMENTS
WITH THE CITY OF SAN JOSE FOR MATERIALS TESTING, CO STRUCTION
INSPECTION AND SURVEYING SERVICES
WHEREAS, the Public Works Department is in need of materials tes ing, construction
inspection and surveying services; and
WHEREAS, the City of Campbell does not have the capability lll- ouse to perform
these services; and
WHEREAS, the City of San Jose's rates are competItIve and esponsiveness is
comparable or better than other testing labs, construction inspection consulta ts and surveyors;
and
WHEREAS, prevIOus agreements and extensions have expired as f December 31,
2000; and
WHEREAS, the City of San Jose has been very responsive to reques for services and
has agreed to continue the cooperative effort to provide these services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell
hereby authorizes the Public Works Director to execute the agreements with th City of San Jose
for Materials Testing, Construction Inspection, and Surveying Services, as wel as any additional
extensions or amendments necessary to allow the continuation of these servic s for the City of
Campbell by the City of San Jose.
