RESOLUTION NO. 9842
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF C
AUTHORIZING THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR TO SU
AN APPLICATION FOR TRANSPORT A TION DEVELOPMENT
FUNDS FOR THE CITYWIDE BICYCLE PROJECT A
THE WESTMONT A VENUE IMPROVEMENT PROJEC
WHEREAS, the City of Campbell has guaranteed TDA funds avai able from Fiscal
Years 1998/99 and 2001/02; and
WHEREAS, Fiscal Year 1998/99 guaranteed TDA funds will expir unless they are
designated to specific projects; and
WHEREAS, the Citywide Bicycle Project and Westmont Avenue 1m rovement Project
would encourage bicycle riding; and
WHEREAS, the projects have been endorsed by the Campbell icycle Advisory
Committee; and
WHEREAS, the ability to obtain funding approval requires City Co ncil endorsement
of the project;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Counci of the City of
Campbell that the Public Works Director is hereby authorized to su mit TDA grant
applications to the Valley Transportation Authority to implement the Citywi e Bicycle Project
and W estmont Avenue Improvement Project.
