CC Resolution 9837 f ) RESOLUTION NO.~83 7 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF C BELL AUTHORIZING THE DESTRUCTION OF CERTAIN CITY REC RDS WHEREAS, Government Code Section 34090, Penal Code Section 799 California Department of Justice Guidelines, Welfare and Institutions Code Section 8265, and the California Public Records Act Sections 6251, 6252, 6254, and 6255-57 aut orize City department heads to destroy certain records, documents, instruments, books, or p pers, after they are no longer required, with approval of the legislative body by Resolution nd written consent ofthe City Attorney; and WHEREAS, the City Council proposes to grant such approval for the d truction of the records, documents, instruments, books, or papers as described in Exhibit A attached hereto, it having been determined by the Chief of Police that these records ar no longer required; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of he City of Campbell that does hereby authorize the Chief of Police to destroy these records, ocuments, instruments, books, or papers under their charge.
