RESOLUTION NO. 9835
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANA ER TO CO-SIGN
A GRANT APPLICATION WITH THE CAMPBELL UNION SCH OL DISTRICT
FOR FUNDS FOR A CHILD AND PARENT ENGLISH LITERAC PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the Campbell Union School District desires to apply for Even tart grant funds;
and
WHEREAS, the District will have a better chance of receiving these funds i partnered with the
City of Campbell; and
WHEREAS, the City's Recreation and Community Services Department an the School
District have been operating this program for the past seven (7) years.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Campbell that
the City Manager be authorized to co-sign an application with the Campbell nion School
District for new grant funding to continue this program.
