RESOLUTION NO. 9832
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CA
AUTHORIZING THE COUNTY OF SANTA CLARA TO RECEIVE
ACCOUNTABILITY INCENTIVE BLOCK GRANT FUND
WHEREAS, the City of Campbell has declined to apply for fu ds made
available through the Juvenile Accountability Incentive Block Grant ( AIBG)
Program administered by the Office of Criminal Justice Planning (he eatter
referred to as OCJP).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Cam bell waives
its right to its entire direct sub grant award and authorizes the funds 0 be
expended by the County of Santa Clara for the mutual benefit of bot units of
local government.
IT IS AGREED that any liability arising out of the performanc of this
Grant Award Agreement, including civil court actions for damages, s all be the
responsibility of the grant recipient and the authorizing agency. The State of
California and OCJP disclaim responsibility for any such liability.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that grant funds received hereu der shall
not be used to supplant expenditures controlled by this body.
