RESOLUTION NO. 9797
BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF CAMPBELL AUTHORIZING THE
CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONSULTANT
SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH LSA ASSOCIATES,
INC., FOR THE PREPARATION OF AN
ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT FOR THE
DRAFT GENERAL PLAN UPDATE.
WHEREAS; on October 24, 2000, the Planning Commission held a Public Hearing to review
the Draft General Plan Update and received testimony from members of the community
expressing concerns including potential environmental impacts; and
WHEREAS; on November 6, 2000, the City Council elected to postpone its Public Hearing on
the adoption of the Draft General Plan Update and continued consideration to a future date in
order to allow an opportunity to reevaluate potential environmental impacts generated by the
Draft General Plan Update; and
WHEREAS, LSA Associates, Inc., has proven to be qualified and has the required expertise to
prepare the necessary Environmental Impact Report on the Draft General Plan Update.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Campbell
hereby authorizes the City Manager to execute a Consultant Services Agreement with LSA
Associates, Inc., for an Environmental Impact Report for the Draft General Plan Update for an
amount not to exceed $100,000.
