RESOLUTION NO. 9780
BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF CAMPBELL AUTHORIZING THE
CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONSULTANT
SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH FEHR & PEERS
ASSOCIATES, INC., FOR THE PREPARATION OF A
TRAFFIC ANALYSIS OF THE DRAFT GENERAL
PLAN UPDATE.
WHEREAS; on October 24, 2000, the Planning Commission held a Public Hearing to review
the Draft General Plan Update and received testimony from members of the community
expressing concerns including potential traffic impacts; and
WHEREAS; on November 6, 2000, the City Council elected to postpone its Public Hearing on
the adoption of the Draft General Plan Update and continued consideration to a future date in
order to allow an opportunity to reevaluate potential traffic impacts generated by the Draft
General Plan Update; and
WHEREAS, Fehr & Peers Associates, Inc., has proven to be uniquely qualified and has the
required expertise to perform the necessary traffic analysis on the Draft General Plan Update.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Campbell
hereby authorizes the City Manager to execute a Consultant Services Agreement with Fehr &
Peers Associates, Inc., for a traffic analysis of the Draft General Plan Update in an amount not to
exceed $29,040.
