RESOLUTION 9770
BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CAMPBELL AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE CITY OF CAMPBELL AND
SIGNIFICANT CLEANING SERVICES
WHEREAS, the City Council has adopted a budget for the 2000/2001 fiscal year;
and
WHEREAS, there is a need for janitorial services to be provided at the Community
Center; and
WHEREAS, the contract was let to bid, and six bids were received; and
WHEREAS, with the recommended budget adjustment, funds will be available in
the revised 2000/2001 fiscal year operating budget (account # 101.530.7432);
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council authorizes the
execution of an agreement between the City of Campbell and Significant Cleaning Services,
in the amount of $13,208/month for the first year of service, subject to an annual increase
of 3 % per year over the life of a four-year contract, for janitorial services to be provided at
the Campbell Community Center in accordance with the job specifications.
