RESOLUTION NO. 9766
BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CAMPBELL AUTHORIZING THE POLICE CHIEF TO EXECUTE AN
AGREEMENT WITH SAFEW A Y CORPORATION FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT
OF A NEIGHBORHOOD POLICE CENTER AT CAMPBELL PLAZA
WHEREAS, Safeway Corporation has requested that the Campbell Police Department establish
a Neighborhood Police Center at the Safeway Store at the Campbell Plaza on Winchester
Boulevard; and
WHEREAS, the Campbell Police Department has agreed to operate a Neighborhood Police
Center at the Safeway Store for the purpose of police officers completing routine paper work,
making phone calls and meeting with members of the community.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell
authorizes the Police Chief to enter into an Agreement with the Safeway Corporation to
establish a Neighborhood Police Center (Police Beat Office) at the Safeway Store at the
Campbell Plaza on Winchester Boulevard.
