RESOLUTION NO. 9742
BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CAMPBELL APPROVING SPECIFICATIONS
AND AUTHORIZING CALLING FOR BIDS FOR
A BUCKET TRUCK WITH BOOM/BUCKET ASSEMBLY
WHEREAS, the existing bucket truck has reached the end of its useful life; and,
WHEREAS, a bucket truck is needed with a higher working height to maintain
video detection cameras mounted atop mast arms; and,
WHEREAS, the adopted Fiscal Year 2000/2001 Capital Budget has appropriated
funds for its replacement; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council has been presented with specifications for a
replacement bucket truck with boom/bucket assembly.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Campbell that the specifications for a bucket truck with boom/bucket assembly be, and
they are hereby, adopted and approved and that the Public Works Director is authorized
and directed to give notice inviting sealed proposals for purchase of a bucket truck with
boom/bucket assembly.
